A family-run clothing studio in Kaunas, Lithuania

Made for you, close to home.

We design linen clothing and make most pieces after an order is placed, with every garment cut, sewn and checked by our small team.

Who We Are

Love and Confuse is run by Renata and Justinas together with a small team of makers.

Garments sewn to order in our studio
01

A direct connection between customer and maker.

Our garments are designed, cut, sewn, pressed and prepared for dispatch in our Kaunas studio. We remain closely involved throughout the process, from choosing fabrics and developing patterns to advising customers on sizing and checking finished orders.

When you contact us about a size, fabric or alteration, you are speaking directly with the people responsible for making and preparing your garment.

Producing in our own studio keeps the distance between the customer and the maker small. We can check a measurement before cutting, speak directly with the pattern maker when an alteration is requested and examine each finished garment before it leaves Kaunas.

Sizing advice before cutting
02

Help with fit before the fabric is cut.

Choosing a size online is not always straightforward. Two people with similar measurements may prefer a completely different fit, and the same size can feel different from one design to another.

You are always welcome to send us your bust, waist and hip measurements before ordering. We will compare them with the garment pattern and recommend the size we believe will suit you best, based on the intended fit of the style.

Because most garments are made after you order, we can often adjust details before the fabric is cut - garment length, sleeve length, trouser inseam, neckline depth, or waist and hip proportions, depending on the design.

Some simple adjustments are available without an additional charge, while more substantial pattern changes may cost extra. We will confirm what is possible, any additional cost and whether the altered garment will be considered final sale before production begins.

Sewn After You Order

Most Love and Confuse pieces are made to order. Once you have chosen your style, size and colour, the fabric is prepared and cut in our studio. The garment is then sewn, finished, checked and packed by our team.

Working this way allows us to offer a broad selection of colours and sizes without producing large quantities of every possible variation in advance.

Made-to-order garments are usually ready for dispatch within two weeks. We also keep a small selection of finished pieces available for quicker dispatch.

Why We Work With Linen

Linen has been at the centre of our collections from the beginning. We choose it for its breathability, texture and comfort. It works well in warm weather, can be layered in cooler seasons and becomes softer with washing and wear.

Its natural creases and subtle variations are part of its character. We design our garments to work with the fabric rather than trying to make it behave like something else.

Our collection includes linen in different weights, colours, patterns and finishes. We also use selected linen blends when their warmth, structure or drape is better suited to a particular garment.

“We make what our customers choose rather than trying to predict which combinations will be needed.”
